Radiologists in
the Diagnostic Imaging Department support all programs in the
Hospital. As well as general
radiology, services include: CT scanning, ultrasound, nuclear
medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, mammography and bone densitometry to
detect osteoporosis.
The department assists
in the regional dialysis program by providing interventional
radiology.
The department will
double in size as part of the Hospital redevelopment. The Diagnostic Imaging Department is
comprised of:

Department has seen a significant increase in both the numbers and
complexity of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology
Suite. Primarily, the Dialysis Program and Vascular Surgery drive
these procedures.
The Nuclear Medicine Division supports
the non-invasive cardiology program through Nuclear Cardiology,
Cardiac Stress Testing and Echocardiography.
