On Saturday, May 2nd York Central Hospital Foundation hosted its fourth annual Share the Spirit of Care Run/Walk. More than 750 members of our community came out to the event and participated in the 5k Run/Walk and 1k Scamper.
Welcoming guests were Mayor Dave Barrow of Richmond Hill; Dr. Larry Grossman, Chief of Staff, York Central Hospital; and Reza Moridi, MPP, Richmond Hill. Participants were entertained by the musical sounds of Jerry Comparelli and Markham District High School ’s Monday Morning Blues Band.
Funds raised from the event will go toward a Birthing Suite within York Central’s Family Birthing Centre.
York Central Hospital Foundation appreciates all the support from the community and the hospital.
