For Patients:
For your convenience, telephone service is available at your bedside for
$2.50 a day. If you are staying for 14-30 days, a flat rate of $35 is
charged. Long distance calls must be collect calls or charged to your
calling card. Incoming calls are direct dial to your room. This service is
available between 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

In the Centre for Continuing Care and
Rehabilitation, please ask your nurse how to access the phone if one is
not provided in your room.
Please note that on the Mental Health Unit,
telephones are located only in the lounges.
For the Hospital Operator: Dial 0
For Visitors: Pay telephones are located in
the main lobbies of the Langstaff and Douglas Storms wings as well as the
Centre for Continuing Care and Rehabilitation. Phones are also available
in the waiting areas of the Fracture Clinic and Emergency. Direct phone
lines for taxi service are located beside all pay phones.
