What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is a normal emotion that is experienced by everyone. At low levels, it can be a productive, motivational force. Anxiety, however, can range from mild uneasiness to extreme discomfort. Its frequency can also vary from occasional episodes of anxiety to ongoing high levels of distress. When anxiety is very intense or frequent, it can interfere significantly with day- to-day functioning.
