As Chief of Surgery at York Central Hospital, I would like to welcome you to our website. We offer a comprehensive range of surgical specialization including: Dentistry, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Opthalmology, Orthopaedics, Otolaryngology, Peripheral Vascular, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Urology. Our goal is to provide these services in a warm, caring, professional and personalized manner.

Our skilled team of surgeons works in conjunction with hospital staff, volunteers and the patient to provide the best possible patient care using the latest technology to meet the healthcare needs of our growing community.

The program offers timely and convenient pre-operative care through our Pre-Surgery Clinic. A Fracture Clinic and Day Surgery unit are conveniently located on the main level, close to the main entrance and operating theatres.

Phase One of our major expansion and renovation project will be completed in the spring of 2009. This will further expand and enhance surgical care at York Central Hospital, with the addition of 68 new medical/surgical beds. Phase Two of our redevelopment will feature 10 new state-of-the-art operating rooms.
